The answer is it depends, many clients who come to Maxim, have primary diagnoses as well as some porn addiction / problematic sexual behavior associated ICD-10/11 codes that are coverable.

One thing you should take into account is if you do use insurance a lot of the assessment’s, history, and treatment, can be requested by your Health Insurance company. This may be an issue if you value privacy.

That is why most clients even with insurance coverage have a hybrid service where clinically we work on mental health and the problematic porn use / behaviors are addressed via coaching sessions and group work.
